About the Role:

Join our team and help our top private banking client to revolutionise their data governance!

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with Data Governance and Financial Services experience to support changes for new and in flight projects in the data governance, specifically in Training and Awareness, Engagement & Communication model with key stakeholders, Templates and playbooks for Frameworks, Framework support and Data Compass support for the implementation of the new operating model to manage and understand data change.

Our client requires a seasoned Business Analyst (Data Governance) to work within the existing Data Governance Team. You will work along side other Business Analysts to help specify deliverables, recommend ways of working, write communications and deliver training. You must have experience in training and communication within data governance teams.

Your excellent analysis, change management, communication and business transformation skills will be key to ensure the business engage, define and adopt these new ways of working whilst closely engaging with our client s senior leaders and stakeholders across the business including but not limited to Data Governance, Legal, Compliance and Finance.

You ll manage stakeholders confidently and diplomatically, gently coaching and always willing to share your knowledge, you ll deliver training and communications with flare.

Deliverables

Understands the why and defines the project s scope and goals
Ability to lead complex discussion/facilitate workshops with project stakeholders
Creates training and awareness support material
Delivers training across the business to successful embed the new ways of working

Data Compass support for the implementation of the new operating model to manage and understand data change
Manage Change Requests within the project, ensuring impact assessments have been undertaken and communicated to stakeholders in an efficient and effective manner

Evaluates data quality and integrity and recommends improvements
Creates new collateral and documentation for new ways of working and seeks buy in
Creates new policies, procedures, and data governance frameworks and seeks buy in
Manages all aspects of risks
Tracks project performance, regularly reporting to stakeholders
Manage Change Requests within the project, ensuring impact assessments have been undertaken and communicated to stakeholders in an efficient and effective manner
Helps define success criteria and benefit realisation

Requirements

Essential skills and experience:

Proven experience of change within data governance and Financial Services

Experience in supporting, documenting and delivering the training and communication aspect of change

Extensive experience of process mapping, design, automation, and implementation within Data Governance

Proficient in using Business Process Modelling Tools (Visio or equivalent) and MS Office Suite

Experience of business process re-engineering and operating model design within Financial Services

Good attention to detail/quality mindset, strong analytical approach

Strong influencing and networking skills, ability to develop internal/external business relationships, uses knowledge, skills and experience to influence others

Experience in creating and influencing news ways of working, frameworks, and models

Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MSP

Strong interpersonal and people management skills, to motivate and lead your project team and manage stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
