Senior PR Specialist Passenger Car

The Senior PR Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the key media contacts and to secure positive media coverage for the company in Spain. The position will work closely with the Marketing and PR team in order to develop and execute the Press & PR strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives. A proactive and team player profile is sought.

This position reports directly to theMarketing and PR Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with key media contacts.
• Prepare and deliver press releases media kits and other PR materials.
• Manage the press fleet and media inquiries.
• Pitch newsworthy stories to media outlets and influencers.
• Track media coverage and measure PR campaign effectiveness.
• Stay uptodate on industry trends and developments.

Required skills qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree in journalism.
• 7 years of experience in brand or agency in public relations field.
• 7 years of experience in automotive journalism or press department.
• Spanish native language level and proficiency level of english.
• Highly motivated and result driven.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of media relations and pitching techniques.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
• Familiarity with social media and online reputation management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
