Azerbaijan Hiring - Assistant Electrican

As an Assistant Electrician on our offshore drilling platform you will assist our experienced electricians in maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rig.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems equipment and machinery on the rig.
  
• Perform routine inspections and tests of electrical systems to identify and address issues proactively.
  
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical problems and implementing solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting power distribution systems motors generators and control systems.
  
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and prevent accidents and injuries.
  
• Participate in safety meetings drills and inspections to maintain a culture of safety on the rig.
  
• Assist in emergency response situations as needed following established protocols and procedures.
  
• Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced electricians to carry out assigned tasks effectively.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Previous experience in a similar role or electrical training program preferred but not required.
  
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in a challenging offshore environment.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions closely.
  
• Willingness to work in remote offshore locations on a rotational basis.
