Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of all events ensuring they run smoothly and meet high standards.
- Manage and coordinate catering leads from inquiry to completion.
- Organize vendor presence and ensure they have the necessary support and resources.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and services.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor event budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors clients and sponsors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role preferably in the food and beverage or event planning industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for food and supporting local communities is a plus.
