Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Gothenburg

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced engineering projects and concept studies for powertrain systems or subsystems.
• Utilize CATIA V5 for mechanical engineering tasks.
• Collaborate closely with Concept Leaders CAE test engineers and manufacturing engineers.
• Ensure timely and accurate release of technical documentation (3D models 2D drawings requirements) in Team Center Engineering (TCe).
• Optimize component packaging and define requirements for surrounding systems to ensure design functionality.
• Secure prototype design and manufacturing for demonstration and testing purposes.
• Participate in concept meetings to review and refine design solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience in concept design work for internal combustion engine installations or relevant automotive design.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Team Center Engineering (TCe).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Technical education at the university level or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines.
• Familiarity with development processes and related administrative systems is preferred.
