Were currently seeking an Assistant General Manager for our client. If you have strong leadership skills operational expertise and the ability to collaborate in a managerial capacity wed like to introduce you to this role as a key leadership position within our clients esteemed team.
As an Assistant General Manager you will be supporting the General Manager in overall restaurant operations execution management of staff controllable profit plan achievement guest count growth and salesbuilding activities. You will also be assisting in employee selection retention and continuous operational improvement. You will be reporting to the General Manager while assisting with the supervision of approximately 1520 crew members.
Requirements
Tasks
Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all departments
Manage and train staff members including servers and kitchen staff
Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards of service
Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
Coordinate with banquet and catering teams to plan and execute events
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability
Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Previous experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager is preferred
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of food production service operations
Understanding of financial principles and ability to analyze financial data
Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
