Job summary

The Senior Insight Analyst is a member of the research team responsible for connecting with people in different data center markets, helping them know what’s going on, and learning about the latest developments and activity along the way to assess market dynamics and on-the-ground activity.

This position is also responsible for standardizing, analyzing, and publishing information on different data center real estate markets to the datacenterHawk platform that is utilized by executives of the largest data center companies in the world.

This position does not focus on financial analysis, training AI/ML models, or configuring business intelligence tools.

This position is located in the Middle East, preferably in Bahrain, and reports to directly to the Regional Director. This is a full-time position that will be hired through a professional employment organization (PEO).

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships within the industry
• Consistently know what’s going on with transactions, leasing, and construction in your markets
• Support regional marketing efforts, sales conversations, or consulting engagements
• Conduct exploratory and investigative research to identify and resolve data gaps
• Analyze market activity and accurately analyze market dynamics
• Ensure the datacenterHawk platform is up to date with accurate information

Additional Responsibilities

• Support the company as various needs arise across marketing, sales, and other strategic initiatives
• Occasional international travel for conferences or market tours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience at a data center focused brokerage, hyperscale user, or colocation provider - ideally where you focused on real estate transactions instead of operational support or construction management
• Bachelor's Degree, equivalent educational achievement, relevant industry experience or equivalent learning may be substituted for the degree requirement
• Fluent in English, Arabic and other local language(s)
• Ability to travel locally and internationally
