- Define commercial strategy and implement actions to achieve agreed business objectives and KPIs for all business segments
- Establish the commercial priorities for the Sales Team while assuring business focus and allocation of the right resources in addition to cascading sales strategy, tactics, and marketing programs/promotions
- Maintain best-in-class working relationships with institutions, strategic customers, and other strategic stakeholders, with a permanent market presence (including punctuality, customer communication, customer contact, presentation and professionalism)
- Provide a high quality application support response which is consistent and in line with the changing requirements of the customer and the business areas
- Ensure that the application team is fully competent and knowledgeable, up to date and multi-skilled on the various product lines
- Identify people skills, aptitudes and potential, ensuring timely development and use; while providing feedback and conducting performance reviews of employees
