Heavy Track Trailer Fabricator

Main Responsibilities:

• Fabricate assemble and repair heavy tracks and trailers.
  
• Interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to understand job requirements.
  
• Utilize welding and cutting equipment to shape and assemble metal components.
  
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on fabrication equipment.
  
• Ensure all work meets the required safety and quality standards.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve fabrication processes.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  
• Follow all company policies and procedures especially those related to safety and quality control.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fabrication or welding is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in heavy track and trailer fabrication.
  
• Proven experience in welding cutting and assembling metal components.
  
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  
• Knowledge of different welding techniques (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) and metalworking tools.
  
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
  
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
