Municipal Engineer

Leading U.S. engineering consulting firm is seeking a Municipal Engineer for their Minneapolis office!

Responsibilities:

• Project engineering/management duties (project oversight priority setting developing objectives and project financial management)
  
• Involvement in the design process
  
• Provide technical guidance to site civil team members
  
• Mentor junior staff
  
• Assist with business development (preparing proposals project interviews/presentations client management)
  
• Involvement in professional societies
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in civil engineering
  
• Master s degree a plus
  
• 5 years of experience in design/management of projects
  
• PE License in Minnesota
  
• PE License in other Midwest states a plus
  
• Experience with a variety of site development projects and municipal road/utility projects
  
• MnDOT knowledge preferred
  
• Knowledge of stormwater management design and permitting regulations
  
• Knowledge of municipal utility design (sanitary sewer/water main)
  
• Proficient in hydrology/hydraulic software
  
• Experience with GIS software and/or Autodesk Civil3D preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
