Data Analyst Internship
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated student/coop/intern for an internship on behalf of our client in the insurance industry. This role provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain handson experience in a hybrid work environment. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Mathematics Computer Science Business Analytics Commerce Business Management Dual Program Math and Business or Statistics programs.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $27.28.
4month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Flexible schedule: 8:00am 4:00 pm or 9:00 am 5:00 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Support and Development: Assist in the use and development of the company internal reporting platforms.
Report Creation and Maintenance: Responsible for generating and maintaining reports using Power BI Excel and other reporting tools. Provide training and support to the Claims & Admin teams.
Data Analysis and Oversight: Manage the resolution of platform and data errors. Track platform usage measure key performance indicators (KPIs) handle adhoc reporting requests and create effective written procedures and documentation.
Active Analysis Role: Play an active role in data analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
What you will need to succeed:
12 years of experience with Microsoft pivot tables Vlookups Macros and advanced Excel formulas. Required
12 years of experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau SAP Lumira IBM Cognos or particularly Microsoft Power BI. Required
12 years of experience in SQL and data querying. Required
12 years of experience in visualizing data and explaining analytics to management. Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized and selfmotivated with strong work values including dependability honesty and a positive attitude.
Analytical mindset eager to learn test out new ideas and continuously improve.
Interest in working with data and using tools for data collection aggregation and presentation.
Experience in Microsoft 360 Suite including Power Automate and Power Apps.
The ability to prioritize and effectively transition between multiple tasks and stakeholders.
