DC - Data Privacy Associate

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Data Privacy Associate to join us in any one of our Denver Irvine D.C. and New Jersey offices.

We are looking for attorneys with at least 4 years of consumer and employee privacy experience.

The ideal candidate will have appreciable legal advice and counsel experience including managing data privacy compliance projects drafting privacy policies and notices drafting or advising on data protection agreements data mapping advising on consumer consent workflows advising on technical website/app and digital marketing issues (such as cookies pixels targeted ads global privacy controls dark patterns) and advising clients on conducting data protection impact assessments and responding to data subject requests. In addition to expertise in employee and consumer privacy laws and regulations (state federal and/or international) experience in data breach and incident response and reporting as well as consumer privacy litigation and regulatory enforcement actions is preferred but not required. Ideal candidates will have achieved the IAPPs Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation in at least one category.

Although we would prefer that you have some experience in employment law we are also interested in working with developing talented attorneys who come to us with excellent skills in consumer privacy and cybersecurity.

Candidate must have excellent academic credentials strong writing and analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment. Successful candidate will be a selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
