Founded in 2016 the school is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrates natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.

The school curriculum is organized into the Primary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength from both Chinese and Western education. For Primary and Middle School students follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum. For High School the students follow the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also the school offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.

.Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and the ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds. The PE Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive physical education curriculum that meets the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging PE lesson plans that align with the schools curriculum and educational standards.
• Promote physical fitness teamwork and sportsmanship through a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Assess and monitor students progress providing feedback and support to help them achieve their physical education goals.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular sports programs including intramural and interscholastic competitions.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students ensuring the proper use and care of PE equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues parents and the school administration to support students overall development and wellbeing.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education and health.
• Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages students to develop lifelong healthy habits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Physical Education Kinesiology Sports Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or license in Physical Education.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Strong knowledge of various sports fitness activities and health education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
