We are looking for a Senior API Engineer to design create and maintain APIs that drive modern web and mobile apps. As a Senior API Engineer who will be responsible for architecting scalable and resilient API solutions that match the platforms expanding needs.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in software development with a focus on API development.
• Experience with API security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with API design standards such as REST GraphQL and OpenAPI.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTTP JSON and OAuth.
• Design develop and maintain highquality APIs to support various applications and services.
• Architect scalable and reliable API solutions that adhere to best practices in API design and development.
• Optimize API performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent security vulnerabilities.
• Document APIs and provide technical guidance to other team members.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in API development and recommend best practices and tools to enhance our API ecosystem.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
