Job Title: Qualified Workshop Technician (Diesel Mechanic)
Location: Parow Western Cape
Salary Range: R18500 R23000 (monthly)
Responsibilities:
- Perform transport maintenance tasks.
- Rebuild engines.
- Overhaul clutches and brakes.
- Handle electrical systems.
- Work on trucks (Scania Volvo Mercedes Hino Isuzu) and small fleet vehicles (bakkies and small trucks).
- Repair bodywork and paint components (panel beating and welding).
- Familiarity with trailer brakes repairs and fridge units is advantageous.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Red Seal required
- Afrikaans and English (bilingual a must)
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in transport maintenance.
- Code 8 (10/14 license advantageous).
- Strong leadership skills.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- Availability for standby duty and weekend work.
- Own transport.
