CNC Lathe Machinist Class A 1st Shift

Ideal Class A CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating multiple multiaxis CNC Lathe Machines. Must be able to perform inprogress inspections and make any offset changes as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 5 years experience working and setting up CNC Lathe Multi Axis Machines

Wellversed in performing visual inprogress inspections and prototype inspections

Able to use all mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers calipers and gages

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

Excellent shop math skills

Must be able to change any tools required during a production run

Knowledge of GCodes

Able to setup and make necessary adjustments for a new job orders

Must be very detailed oriented organized have good communication skills and be a team player

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Additional CNC educational training is desirable but not required
