Oracle DBA Unix Curam

Position: Oracle DBA (Unix Curam)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience troubleshooting Oracle databases version 10g or higher addressing performance issues across storage network database and application tiers by collaborating with other teams.
• Proficiency in working with developers to optimize SQL performance through suggestions such as index recommendations and avoidance of cartesian products.
• Handson experience with RMAN for backup and recovery of Oracle databases including recovery processes.
• Proven track record of upgrading Oracle Database software version 10g or higher within a Unixlike environment (e.g. AIX Linux) including entire RAC clusters with DataGuard.
• Experience in patching Oracle Database software version 10g or higher within a Unixlike environment (e.g. AIX Linux) including entire RAC clusters with DataGuard.
• Installation expertise in Oracle Database software version 10g or higher within a Unixlike environment (e.g. AIX Linux) specifically for RAC clusters with DataGuard.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control version 13 or higher.
• Exposure to Oracle 10g or higher in conjunction with an application tier utilizing IBM C ram architecture (direct C ram experience not required).
• Oracle 10g or higher Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
