Product Manager - Data Out

We are looking for a friendly and ambitious Product Manager to join our Data Out team. The team owns the integrations and capabilities that allow our customers to analyze explore or activate their data in other tools.

At Funnel we work in crossfunctional teams and put a strong emphasis on team collaboration. Teams here are not handed requirements but rather problems to solve. Together with your peers you develop and take responsibility for your part of the product. Learning is central to us and we use both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate features and discover opportunities. We work with small iterations and deploy to production several times a day.

The Role

In this crossfunctional team you as the Product Manager bring a deep understanding of our customers challenges priorities and daytoday. Youre a domain expert in marketing analytics and the wider modern data stack including business intelligence data warehousing and data activation (like CDPs or Reverse ETL). In the team youre the person whos most fluent in our business strategy gotomarket and domain. You take the lead in making sure the team collects feedback and perspectives from the commercial teams and communicates changes that impact their work.

Together with the team you make tough priorities that balance shortterm operational needs with longterm impact on the product strategy. We believe that the best collaboration and innovation happen when teams work together in the same space and as such we work from our office in central Stockholm as much as possible.

Who you are

We want you to thrive in your role and believe that you have:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Product Manager or Product Designer on a digital product in close collaboration with engineers and direct access to customers

• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to make the complex seem simple; both in writing and inperson

• Expertise in product discovery techniques like interviews user testing prototyping scoping and rapid iteration

• Experience defining vision and strategy for a product

It is beneficial if you also have:

• Expertise in SQL for analytics and reporting

• An understanding or handson experience in performance marketing and measurement

• Expertise in the B2B SaaS business model and KPIs

• Handson experience with tools in the modern data stack (for example dbt Hightouch Segment or Snowflake)

The Product

Funnel enables a workflow that automates the collection of all the data the customer needs easy creation and maintenance of a robust data model with the customers own concepts and metrics and finally analysis and reporting in Funnel or in the tools they already like to use. All this without the user having to write a single line of code or even be particularly technical. We call it BusinessReady Data and our vision is that the people who need data for their decisionmaking should have the tools to do it themselves and not be dependent on their technical colleagues.

Who we are

Funnel is a Swedishfounded company with headquarters in Stockholm. Our SaaS product is designed to help marketing teams own their performance. Founded in 2014 in Stockholm and still founderled the Funnel team has grown with our customers serving more than 2000 customers from our Stockholm Boston Dublin and Sydney offices.

Among the 2000 customers there are small and medium ecommerce companies as well as some of the worlds largest brands. There is a strong focus on providing a worldclass user experience and its not uncommon to hear some of our 8000 users tell us were making their work easier and more fun. Since its launch in 2015 Funnel has continued to grow rapidly and are currently 300 employees with about onethird focused on building the product.
