Senior DevOps Engineer all genders

Your role

We are seeking an experienced (Senior) DevOps Engineer to support our development and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration cloud computing and system automation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our database systems including PostgreSQL and MySQL and managing our AWS cloud infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual who can efficiently solve problems implement new solutions and ensure the high availability and performance of our services.

• Manage AWS cloud services including EC2 RDS and Cloudfront to support our development and production environments
• Be the first internal DevOps Engineer and support the ecommerce infrastructure in a fast growing directtoconsumer business based on Debian PHP MySQL Varnish Redis and Docker
• Administer monitor and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to ensure high performance and availability
• Implement and maintain database backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline our operations and processes
• Ensure security best practices are followed within the cloud and database environments
• Participate in the planning and deployment of new features and infrastructure upgrades
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members

Your profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field and >3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of database administration for PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with public cloud platforms and understanding of cloud architecture
• Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Speaking Russian is considered a plus
