We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager, to join our growing team within the On-Demand division. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement function within our On-Demand division, delivering margin growth and driving the Ethos of "One Uniphar" amongst our supplier network. This role is crucial in driving the growth and success of our On Demand division by expanding our product portfolio and establishing strategic relationships with key partners.

• Develop global relationships, specifically UK, directly with manufacturers, selling the overall ethos of the Uniphar Group and the On-Demand business
• Management of key internal stakeholders, Operations, Quality, Finance, HR
• Oversight and support the S&OP, maintaining adequate stock levels whilst maintaining budget
• Monthly monitoring and managements of competitor commercial activities and offerings outside the of On-Demand global channels
• Ownership of the supply chain relationships, understanding the constraints and co-ordinate activities to ensure all resources are exercised and escalated if any supply gaps exist
• Develop a best in class portfolio of products and suppliers, with exclusive arrangements where possible, maintaining a product portfolio with up to date pricing and availability
• Develop and support in the on-boarding of new distribution agreements, and develop a UK strategy to streamline the procurement functions - i.e. Supplier analysis, Supplier development, preferred vendor management, etc
• Support in highlighting new opportunities for Distribution offerings for manufacturers for both the UK and Ireland
• Support in offering wider compliment of services available across the Uniphar business
• Develop with the procurement teams a broader EMP portfolio offering for UK hospital base
• Support the trading function of the business incorporating:
  • BModesto
  • Devonshire
  • Durbin UK
  • Pharmasource Ireland
• Working with the A&D teams to achieve synergies on the overall Procurement spend across the on-Demand business
• Managing supplier and vendor performance and regularly perform review meetings with the larger suppliers of importance
• Developing a 30, 60, 90, 120 days rolling plan on the implementation of the overall procurement strategy.
