Your Role

We are hiring a Facilities Engineer in Pasadena CA. to lead continuous improvement objectives onsite for 4 laboratory suites to include GxP and GMP areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvements for engineering in GxP laboratory areas for the following engineering disciplines:
  
• Facilities Engineering
  
• Utilities
  
• Automation/Environmental Monitoring Systems
  
• Controlled Documentation procedures development and compliance. Manage documentation updates for change controls and general manufacturing readiness of the Pasadena site.
  
• Lead change control and compliance management for the engineering department. Compliance management involves but is not limited to:
  
• Change control ownership and management for changes required for automation and other engineering systems for continuous improvements.
  
• Deviations management for critical alarms on GxP laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
  
• CAPAs management.
  
• Supplier qualification of engineering suppliers.
  
• Lead security management for the site. Access management for new employees and new contractors.
  
• Service providers change their site personnel and then the new personnel require training and access.
  
• Lead routine engineering tasks including but not limited to:
  
• Periodic review of Badges and badge readers
  
• Video system review.
  
• Management of corresponding work orders in the CSL CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  
• Additional responsibilities as required.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in engineering or STEM related discipline.
  
• 2 years or more of experience with GxP areas. Experience with Laboratory areas is a plus.
  
• Other preferred skills:
  
• Experience managing cleanrooms.
  
• Trackwise (Change control Qualifications).
  
• Veeva system (documentation).
  
• ProWatch (Badge/Access management)
  
• Isensix (Environmental Monitoring system).
  
• SAP PM (CMMS).
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  
• Motivated and driven and willing to learn.
  
• Adaptable and flexible.

Estimated Annual Base Salary (dependent on experience) $80000 to $100000.
