Job Summary

  • The HR Data Governance & Automation function manages the development and governance of the HR data and information strategy to facilitate business decisions and foster growth across the East Asia & Pacific region encompassing 16 countries and approximately 15500 employees in total.
    Overall the function is responsible for:
    Designing & Implementing an HR Data Strategy and Projects
    HR Data Governance and Quality Assurance
    Data Management
    Business Intelligence
    Analytics
  • The HR Data Specialist acts as the primary administrator and internal point of contact for the Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This includes tasks such as inputting updating auditing and handling the processing of people data.
  • In addition the HR Data Specialist will participate in HR initiatives/projects to drive continuous process improvement maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes general maintenance of the HCM database preparing adhoc/scheduled reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of People Data Processes including the entry of personal information employment history and other relevant data into HCM & Payroll databases
  • Coordinate & perform data cleansing & patching in HR systems
  • Perform ongoing data reconciliation & validations across systems to ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of HR data in the HCM & Payroll databases
  • Identify and work closely with Payroll Data HR Technology & Rewards teams to solve datarelated issues
  • Evaluating the data collection process to ensure efficiency and integrity
  • Respond to data management questions from HR & Business Stakeholders
  • Create maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation
  • Participate in HR initiatives digitization/process/program implementation and focus on continuous improvements in efficiencies
  • Learn and be proficient at using the HCM & Payroll system and other applications.
  • Be a subject matter expert in HR data management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Human Resources or related field or equivalent of related experience
  • 12 years / previous experiences working in a high volume data processing environment (data input accuracy verification/reconciliation)
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate timely and compliant data entry
  • Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUPs)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook)
  • Analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving root cause analysis
  • Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Oracle Fusion HCM) and demonstrated proficiency in HR systems administration
  • Experience in utilizing MS SQL Server for creating basic scripts and SQL queries
  • Exposure to using RPA to transform & automate processes data entry
  • Team player with strong interpersonal relationshipbuilding and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly motivated and hardworking with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent organisational skills attention to detail and analytical reasoning
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and enjoy providing quality outcomes in a fast paced team environment
