This is a fulltime position with a 40hour work week. The contract will be with HireNow Staffing Inc and the selected candidate will be placed at one of our client companies.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist you will work with individuals who have physical mental developmental or emotional disabilities to help them improve their daily living and working skills. Your role will involve assessing clients needs developing treatment plans and providing therapy to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine clients needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy to clients to help them improve their physical cognitive and emotional abilities
Teach clients new skills and techniques to help them perform daily tasks more independently
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and psychologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Monitor clients progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
Educate clients and their families on how to continue therapy at home
Maintain accurate and uptodate client records
Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of occupational therapy
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance

Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
Knowledge of current principles and practices in occupational therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Physical stamina to work with clients for extended periods of time
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
