Job Description & Summary

This role involves hands-on delivery of solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and contributing to the team’s technical acumen. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in data visualisation, experience with various data visualisation and analytical tools, and a willingness to expand their technical knowledge in client-facing projects. They should be adept at interpreting business and technical requirements and implementing solution designs.

Support PwC in implementing and migrating business intelligence solutions for our clients with Google Cloud as a data platform. Analyze business requirements and translate them into data models and BI solutions. Support data warehouse migrations projects during all phases and ensure existing client reports and dashboards (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) are converted to access data sources in Google Cloud. Use tools to discover existing BI dashboards and reports and assess their dependencies to legacy data warehouses and support their migration planning. Collaborate with the business stakeholders and data & analytics teams on the client. The ideal candidate is experienced in migrating Teradata to BigQuery.

Background

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis plans.
• Experienced in utilizing SQL, Python, R to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage etc.).
• Discover and assess existing dashboards, reports and data models and identify dependencies to legacy data warehouses. Use this information to plan and implement repointing and conversion of data models and assets to target solutions on Google Cloud (BigQuery).
• Experience in designing and implementing data products and ideally data mesh
• Experienced in developing and maintaining data models for efficient analysis and reporting (Data Vault, Kimball, 3NF. etc).
• Designing and building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Looker to communicate insights effectively.
• Perform statistical analysis and identify trends and patterns in data to support strategic decision making.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to ensure data quality and consistency.

• Target Projects: Large data warehouse migrations and optimization to Google Cloud, implementing modern business intelligence solutions on-top of Google Cloud
