Tasks

About the role:

As a Platform Engineer youll be part of a client team building innovative products. We expect you to be curious passionate driven and enthusiastic. Youll be proficient at problemsolving helping to deliver the core infrastructure associated pipelines and related services in a pragmatic way that focuses on keeping the Platform team a core component of software delivery from providing the platform for application developers to build on. Youll be an effective communicator and a team player. You and your team will move in a fastpaced engineering environment achieving outstanding results and delivering exciting projects.

Requirements

Your Dev experience will include:

• Previous CI/CD experience;
• Experienced in Java Node.js or Go but any relevant development experience is a huge plus (E.g. Powershell or Bash);
• Being an advocate of TDD: Writing infrastructure or code without tests should be unthinkable;
• Having a solid understanding and passion for excellent software development practises;
• Legally being able to live and work in Portugal.

Your Ops experience will include:

• Significant experience in production;
• Substantial experience of container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes;
• Experience with AWS GCP or Azure;
• Thorough understanding of infrastructure as code tools including Terraform and Ansible (ARM Template Bicep or Pulumi are welcome);
• Building shipping and running using Docker;
• Understanding how a Load Balancer works and having used either Traefik Nginx HaProxy or a Cloudbased Load Balancer;
• Experience in using a Linux/RHEL/Ubuntu environment.
