Job Description

Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Overview:

Our client a leading foreign manufacturer specializing in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The Technical Sales Representative will play a crucial role in promoting and selling PPE products to potential clients across various industries in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of PPE products excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales within the safety equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the companys customer base in Nigeria.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in industries such as construction manufacturing healthcare and oil & gas to promote and sell PPE products.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features benefits and technical specifications of PPE products to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and product development to ensure alignment of sales efforts with market trends and customer needs.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients addressing inquiries resolving issues and offering recommendations on suitable PPE solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals quotations and contracts to prospective clients negotiating terms and closing sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and market feedback using CRM software or other sales tracking tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and regulatory requirements related to PPE products and incorporate relevant information into sales strategies.
  • Attend trade shows conferences and networking events to represent the company build relationships with key stakeholders and generate leads.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales preferably in the safety equipment or PPE industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PPE products including helmets gloves protective clothing and respiratory equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria and occasionally internationally.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
