Job Scope:
Measuring and determining the required size and quantity of materials. Utilizing a range of hand
tools power tools and equipment essential for carpentry tasks including the circular saw table saw
router pneumatic nail gun ramset drills and other instruments for measuring cutting fastening and
drilling.
Conducting maintenance and repair work following completion of tasks. Executing additional duties
as assigned.
Monitors the acquisition and use of materials. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws
hammers rulers etc.).
Studies specifications in blueprints sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and
determine dimensions and materials required.
Install maintain and repair a variety of products ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall.
Translate drawings over to workable and buildable projects.
Cut shape timber according to measurements/requirements.
Installation of wooden fixtures such as cabinets or shelving unit.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
Prepare accurate measurements specifications by using rulers plumb bops levels framing squares.
Designing items or components of items according to drawings.
Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Able to converse and understand basic English.
Perform work in accordance with safety best practices
Ability to read interpret and follow blueprints technical documents and drawings
Handson experience in working with carpentry materials
Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Minimum of 3 years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship or an
equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Demonstrate ability to operate hand air and power tools.
