Role Purpose:
The Maintenance Engineer/Handyman is essential to our operational success focusing on detailed work and maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Respond to regular and emergency maintenance calls.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across multiple trades.
- Perform efficient repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct detailed property inspections.
- Provide detailed quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Maintain strong client communication.
- Keep accurate records for billing.
- Handle additional tasks such as minor plumbing appliance installations safety alarm installations shelving and picture hanging basic gardening and emergency audits.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction and maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical plumbing carpentry and joinery.
- Holder of a current DBS Certificate.
- Reliable with a commitment to high standards.
- Must have own transportation with insurance.
- Owns a basic toolkit.
