Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Bahrain
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and reconcile transactions.
- Contribute to data warehouse design and SQL procedures.
- Build and manage SAS jobs.
- Resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Skills:
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and related tools.
- Understanding of Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
- This role offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in data analysis within a dynamic onsite environment, contributing to financial reporting and data management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SAS tools, SQL, and programming languages like C# or Java.
- Strong experience in configuring applications on Windows/Linux/Unix servers.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and clusters.
- Experience with semi-structured datasets and financial reporting.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English; intermediate proficiency in Arabic.
