Environment Health Safety Supervisor manufacturing

Our client a wellestablished leader in the Building Materials industry is seeking an Environment Health & Safety Supervisor.

The individual in this role should have experience working in a supervisory role that in a heavy manufacturing environment. In this role you will be collaborating with team members in order to develop a worldclass Environment Health & Safety culture ensuring environmental compliance with the goal of eliminating workplace injuries.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide ongoing support to the leadership team in the identification of workplace hazards reporting and investigation of incidents and the development of a comprehensive safety program.
• Assist the EH&S Manager in leading facility EH&S programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA company standards as well as federal state and local environmental regulations and policies.
• You will be in charge of facilitating the EH&S training for all members to meet with targets and objectives.
• Provide triage and first aid in the event of injury to an employee.
• Will be contributing to the health screening process health education programs OSHA recordkeeping hearing conservation process etc.

Requirements:

• EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel Access Word etc.)
• Solid understanding of facilitating successful EH&S programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have experience with EH&S presentations and training.
• Must be proactive enthusiastic and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong teams.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office software.
