Job Title: Software Dev Engineer II

Duration: 11 Months

Job Description:

Client Devices Central Engineering Services SW team owns and manages a portfolio of full stack native AWS services that support key business use cases focused on enterprise resource planning prototype management engineering asset management and NPI product delivery for the Client devices ecosystem. Device tracker service enables end to end lifecycle tracking policy and risk compliance notification workflow for prototype devices.

The Role:

• As a Software Development Engineer you will be responsible for the design development testing and deployment of scalable distributed services with high level of operational excellence. You will design and code troubleshoot and support. You will follow the best practices to helpbuild a distribution logistics and business analytics solution.

Basic Qualification:

• 3 year of noninternship professional software development experience and an understanding of design for scalability performance andreliability
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
• Knowledge of design patterns objectoriented design and data structures.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or Python.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment to deliver high quality software against tight schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle for a software product.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with product technical and support teams.
• Exposure to proper SDLC including coding standards code reviews source control management continuous deployment.
• Experience developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
• Experience with distributed multitiered systems algorithms and relational databases

Team culture

• Work w managers internal TPMs. Roughly a total of 12 members to the team.
• Customers are the leadership team within Client.
• Tools like device life cycle management tools where they track all the prototypes with device trackers.
• Building the next generation of trackers.
• Huge systems with lots of integrations
• Candidate will be implanting and activating. Looking for a full stacked developer working with the internal teams.
• May be part of sub teams.
• Independent and also collaborative role.

Years of Experience:

• Not just intern experience must have true hands on development work experience contributing to the life cycle.
• 3 plus years of experience.

Degree or Certification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science required Masters preferred
