Our client is a leading EPC contractor within the dynamic oil and gas sector and is seeking an experienced and resultsdriven professional to assume the role of an Engineering Manager. JOB PURPOSE: Materials inventory/storage management and coordination of project materials movements to site
JOB MISSION AND TASKS:
a)Inventory/Materials management in a costeffective and efficient manner
- Coordinate stockkeeping of incorporable technical/non technical consumable materials in the yard and central store.
- Prepares materials requisitions for procurement.
- Maintains inventory levels of materials in the warehouse using departmental computers
b)Reception and storage of incorporable and consumables materials in safe condition based on manufacturer prescription and company procedure
- Ensure materials are received dispatched and secure.
- Manage and coordinate customer delivery commits between procurement production engineering and logistics.
- Traceable storage materials and components received from our customers and suppliers taking ownership of the goods inward and materials storage areas.
- Ensure that all deliveries are inspected on arrival and that the quantities are as specified on the material movement ticket and packing list and the quality Is as specified.
c)Issuance of inspected certified materials for project execution.
- Coordinate the selection and sorting of lifting gears and hand tools with certificates for ThirdParty inspection/Calibration and client Pre mobilization Inspection ensuring that they meet the requirements specified and standards before sending for project execution.
- Coordinates the storage and issuing of industrial compressed gases to the site for project execution.
- Coordinates the safe and efficient operation of materials movements and materials storage with the site storage space.
- Coordinate the daily packaging and movement of project materials to the site.
- Coordinate to Issuance of work tools office materials daily work activities to departments in the base. etc.
- Coordinate materials movements and materials storage.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Engineering Degree (M.Eng.) in Petroleum and Gas Engineering
- Minimum of Seven (7 years) of experience
- Computer literate Microsoft Word Excel Powerpoint Outlook Express
- Supply Chain Management (SCM) Primavera P6
- QMDS
- Time management.
- Organization.
- Good and effective Communication.
- Prioritization.
- Problem solving ability.
- Multitasking.
- Adaptability.
