Job Summary:


A role that is enjoyable as it is diverse our Guest Experience Ambassador s help with everything from pick up and drop off services to lighting up fireplaces and helping guests with their skis. They are often the first touchpoint to welcome our Guests and will do everything in their power to make lasting memories for our guests.


The Guest Experience Ambassador Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring all GEA s are working efficiently and seamlessly together to ensure guest expectations are exceeded. The GEA works with his/her team to ensure all guest experiences are handled efficiently courteously and professionally so as to maintain Nisade s high service levels. The GEA TL will also work closely with the FD team to make sure all tasks are completed.

Nisade are looking for someone who is highly selfmotivated possesses strong ethical qualities with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a leadership position to take a key role in driving this independently owned and operated businesses into delivering our mission and goals.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing and managing the Hotel Guest Experience Ambassador Team
  • Working with other property GEA Team Leaders and GEA s to ensure a seamless experience for all Nisade Guests
  • Ensuring all Nisade vehicles are cleaned well maintained and kept undamaged.
  • Leading regular ongoing communication between GEA s Front Desk and Concierge (e.g. managing preshift briefings staff meetings)
  • Fostering employee commitment to providing excellent service and required service behaviors in all interactions with guests and employees
  • Maintaining positive owner relationships
  • Promptly attending to guest requests and provide intuitive services with a goal to exceed guest expectations
  • Checking drivers list to ensure drives are efficiently managed
  • Handling any guest issues or complaints raised by GEA s
  • Driving / transporting Guests within the village where required
  • Log / maintains security of Equipment Keys Lost and Found Items
  • Assist with staff scheduling and rosters
  • Report immediately to the direct supervisor Hotel Manager and/or Front Office Manger for any guest staff damage or maintenance issues.
  • Will assist in carrying out GEA training for staff
  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact: escort them to assigned room; present the room by giving a quick guide how to use appliances tools
  • Inform guest of activities in resort and upsell guest services
  • Make restaurant booking via phone call / online by guest signed T&C approval receive the restaurant confirmation and drive the guest to restaurant if is necessary
  • Support the front desk agent for managing lobby traffic
  • Answering telephone and in house guest enquiries
  • Maintaining the lobby / ski / onsen area in immaculate condition including common area bathroom
  • Assist the front desk staff for any in house guest inquiries like amenities / linen / rental items in the property
  • Assist with snow clearing property entrances balconies and guest vehicles
  • Perform other duties to assist FD and Managers




Requirements









  • 5 6


  • Fluent English speaker
  • Experience in customer service or guestservice roles
  • A genuine interest in resort activities and Japanese culture
  • Must have flexible hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written with guests as well as colleagues
  • Ability to recognise the needs of each guest and suggest personalised services matching their individual needs
  • Drivers License
  • Standard working days are 5 days per week occasionally up too 6 days per week with additional pay
  • A valid Japanese working holiday visa or working rights
