Job Title: Lead Recruiter

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate driven and clientfocused Lead Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience working within a staffing agency and is able to complete the full cycle recruitment process. The main focus of the role is to grow the agency’s clientele and provide them with the staffing solutions they need as well as candidate management. Main responsibilities (not all encompassing) listed below.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with client requirements.
  • Conduct Intake Meetings: Collaborate with clients to define qualification criteria for candidates.
  • Job Advertisements: Publish job ads on careers pages job boards and social media platforms.
  • Candidate Prospecting: Search out and review passive and active candidates preregistered candidates or candidates other MDG recruiters may have to determine possible role fit.
  • Resume Screening: Review resumes and job applications to identify potential hires.
  • Candidate Interviews: Conduct interviews and provide shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Presentation: Develop candidate presentations and present candidates to clients.
  • Client/Candidate Interview Management: Coordinate and manage interview process as necessary for successful placement. Includes: coordinating interviews with client/candidate; preparing each party as necessary for an efficient and successful interview; and following up with each party after the interview to facilitate any necessary followup actions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of past applicants including resumes and interview evaluations.
  • Networking: Network with potential clients and candidates via LinkedIn and other social media platforms and during job fairs and industry events.
  • Talent Pipelines: Create and maintain talent pipelines for future job opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage a portfolio of clients and foster positive relationships. Includes: new client identification and onboarding; intake meetings; keeping in touch with them and informed; interview prep/assistance; assist with billings as necessary; etc.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Manage a portfolio of candidates and foster positive relationships. Includes: new candidate identification and onboarding; keeping in touch with them and informed; interview prep/assistance; etc.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven work experience as a Staffing Agency Recruiter Recruiter or in a similar role.
  • Hiring Stages: Ability to manage the initial hiring stages including job posting sourcing screening and interviewing.
  • Interview Formats: Familiarity with various interview formats (phone screening calls inperson interviews group interviews).
  • Role Evaluation: Experience evaluating candidates for different roles and seniority levels.
  • Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of resume databases Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and proficiency with the use of Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication relationshipbuilding and networking skills.
  • Organization and Time Management: Solid organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Education: Associate degree or above in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience and education.
  • Sales Experience: Excellent sales qualities and experience with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Misc. Skills: Great customer service skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team; great interpersonal skills; & excellent problemsolving abilities.
