Title: Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote

Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is preferred. However relevant experience and certifications will also be considered.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch Azure Monitor or Stackdriver.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices for CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures to meet business needs.
• Aptitude for optimizing cloud infrastructure for costefficiency and performance.
• Industryrecognized certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
• Entrylevel positions may require some experience with cloud technologies gained through internships or coursework.
• Midlevel and senior positions typically require several years of handson experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Familiarity with specific cloud services relevant to the employers industry.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud and multicloud architectures.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for cloud deployments in regulated industries.
