Job Description
TPF Recruitment is partnering with a growing chartered accountancy practice based in Dartford who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join them as a pivotal hire into their growing Accounts team! This is a fantastic opportunity with a loyal client of ours where you will be offered fantastic client exposure and an excellent opportunity to progress in your career with full study support on offer.
- Prepare financial accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies groups.
- Prepare yearend working paper files and assist auditors
- Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts including posting journals of accruals prepayments depreciation and payroll.
- Prepare control reconciliations and analytical review schedules.
- Maintain clients accounting records and reconciliations including bookkeeping processing of client data and dealing with queries.
- Prepare VAT returns
- Work at clients premises as necessary liaising with the bookkeeper/director to prepare accounts and discuss results.
- Deal with general client queries effectively passing queries to relevant people as needed.
Requirements
- AAT qualified and/ or ACA / ACCA part qualified or qualified with at least 2 years of practice experience or qualified by experience
- Have proven experience of working in a practice environment;
- Strong organisation and planning skills and attention to detail;
- Experience of using cloudbased accounting software packages such as Sage Xero etc;

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senir or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
