Job Description
Our client is a locally owned and operated company specialising in 3rd party equipment for the mining and transport industries. They are seeking a Drafts Person to join their team.
Key responsibilities include
- The development and upkeep of all manufactured item drawings and identifying and developing improvement to drafting processes and standards and all related computeraided drawing activities
- Sourcing correct parts from suppliers
- Working across the organisation with the primary focus on supporting and providing for the needs of the production assembly team
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Handson experience with computeraided design (CAD) software
- Familiarity with 3D modelling tools
- Good mathematical skills
- Advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Suite and internal based applications
- A valid C Class Drivers Licence
Desirable Requirements
- Australian recognised qualification in Drafting or CAD Design
- Previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System ie Greentree or Inventory Management system.
