Administrative Legal Assistant Position in Costa Mesa California

Are you an organized and detailoriented individual with a passion for law and administration Our reputable law firm specializing in Employment Law in Costa Mesa is currently seeking a dedicated Administrative Legal Assistant to join our team. This inoffice position offers the opportunity to support our employment lawyers and contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
  • Answering and directing phone calls taking messages and managing correspondence.
  • Maintaining and organizing legal documents files and records.
  • Assisting with document preparation including drafting correspondence and basic legal documents.
  • Scheduling appointments meetings and court appearances.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering information as needed.
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing tasks.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned to support the firms operations.

Requirements :

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in legal studies is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferably in a legal setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is desirable but not required.
