We are searching foran experienced and ambitious Finance Manager to join an exciting tech enabled accountancy business disrupting the UK accounting marke in theirnew London office on theClient Finance Team youll thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and help themcontinue to build the best client service that can be! This Finance Manager role would ideally suit someone coming from small practice or a portfolio accountant as youll be managing multiple clients at any one time.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a client portfolio of tech scaleups ecommerce and hospitality clients
• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
• Experience of managing staff reviewing and assigning work and assisting with training and development
• Carry out performance reviews biyearly
• Onboard new clients making a great first impression
• Own professional clearance process when clients switch over to the companys model
• Establish strong relationships with clients and provide business advisory support
• Provide commercial support to the sales team
• Strong on accounting software tools eg. Xero Dext etc.
• Learn new midsized business software eg. Sage Intacct
• Champion vision mission and a supportive but high performing culture

Experience:

• Fully ACCA/ACA Qualified and technically solid
• Proven experience as a Manager in practice or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero is a big plus!
• Strong with statutory accounts accounts payable processes and financial management.
• Bonus points if you have experience working with SMEs or an interest in the tech/hospitality start up industry
• Excellent communication skills approachable and friendly
