Site Quantity Surveyor Real Estate

• Utilize expertise to estimate and quantify the materials labour and costs required for construction projects accurately. This includes conducting comprehensive analysis and assessment based on project specifications quantities and prevailing market rates.

  
  

• Prepare and meticulously review Bills of Quantities Schedules of Rates and detailed cost estimates to ensure accuracy completeness and alignment with project requirements and standards.

  
  

• Conduct precise site measurements and surveys to verify quantities assess work progress and ensure that actual construction activities align with planned estimates and schedules.

  
  
• Analyse project specifications drawings and changes to identify cost implications potential risks and opportunities for cost optimization or value engineering providing valuable insights to project stakeholders.
  

• Monitor project budgets and expenditures closely tracking costs against planned estimates identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial objectives.

  
  

• Collaborate proactively with project teams to optimize costefficiency and value engineering initiatives leveraging expertise to identify opportunities for costsaving measures and enhance overall project profitability.

  
  
• Prepare review and negotiate contracts change orders and claims with suppliers and subcontractors ensuring terms and conditions are favourable risks are mitigated and project requirements are met within budgetary constraints.
  
• Provide expert cost advice and support to project stakeholders including clients architects engineers and contractors offering insights recommendations and solutions to address costrelated challenges and achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying preferably in construction projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and costs.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
