Job Summary:
The Test Technician is responsible for performing intricate tests on military electronic components assemblies and systems to evaluate their performance. This involves interpreting schematics troubleshooting malfunctions and collaborating with engineers on complex systemlevel operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional operational and environmental tests using various test equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions down to the component level.
- Coordinate failure reporting and corrective actions with crossfunctional teams.
- Develop and revise test procedures based on engineering requirements.
- Maintain a testing database and assist in training less experienced technicians.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve design and test procedure issues.
- Work in both lab and field environments adhering to documentation and instructions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding testing and performance matters.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Twoyear degree in electronics or equivalent military/civilian coursework.
- Minimum of six years of related experience.
- Thorough familiarity with test equipment (multimeters oscilloscopes etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of RF analog and microwave circuits.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- US Citizenship.
