MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics to support busy construction fleet maintenance in Sergent Bluffs IA.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance diagnostics and repairs to various types of onroad and offroad diesel equipment including heavyduty trucks trailers loaders dozers cranes motor graders trenchers excavators etc. Mechanics are tasked with all preventative maintenance activities inspections changing faulty parts/components along with diagnostics and repair to mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Work is performed mainly in a shop setting.

Compensation:
  • $23.00 $31.00/hour to start depending on training and experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits program including medical dental vision and short & longterm disability insurance plans 401K with company match along with paid time off and holidays.
Shift:
  • Between 7:00AM 5:00PM Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime available.
Key Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of working experience as a Mechanic.
  • Good understanding of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience working in fleet environments (construction and/or trucking) preferred.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Degree in diesel technology and/or ASE/OEM certifications preferred not required.
  • Owns set of tools and valid drivers license.
