As a Senior Credit Risk Data Analyst you will:
  • Proactively align regulatory data requirements and gather necessary data for modeling Probability of Default Loss Given Default and Exposure at Default.
  • Support monitoring backtesting and regulatory tasks related to legacy models in production.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues aiding in the remediation of historical data quality problems.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with expertise in MS SQL and PySpark.
  • Ability to translate SQL code into business rules and vice versa.
  • Experience in banking and credit risk including knowledge of financial and risk reporting.
  • Knowledge of data modeling methodologies for data warehouses and data marts.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.

You should possess the ability to:
  • Clearly understand data requests from modelers and determine the sources from which data can be derived.
  • Drive the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process to ensure data is properly prepared for analysis.
  • Translate data requests into code combining multiple sources and performing data quality checks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to ensure data sets are suitable for their intended purposes.
  • Translate existing SQL code into business rules and conduct impact analysis to assess business rules.
