ABOUT THE POSITION AND THE COMPANY

With a wide range of products for the entire family Biltema is a strong brand with more than 160 stores across the Nordic region and plans for further expansion. The success and vision are based on a simple concept that has been refined over the years; To make it economically easier for people to have cars boats homes tools and leisure articles of high quality thereby creating a richer leisure time for these people. They choose their own path and have therefore decided to invest in their own operations and development of systems and technical solutions among other things. Biltema Nordic Services is a service company within Biltema with various departments that together deliver a complete solution for the department stores assortment and operations. The IT department in Helsingborg provides systems and digital solutions in collaboration with Biltemas other companies within the group for our Nordic markets.

You will be part of a large team of colleagues who together with the entire IT department develop manage and support both proprietary products and systems as well as wellknown systems from marketleading suppliers. Together with your colleagues the mission is to develop integrate and automate Biltemas over 150 digital platforms and systems.

EXAMPLES OF WORK TASKS

• Participate as an expert in defining the future Global Data Architecture for BILTEMA.
• Design and develop logical and physical data models data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
• Design and develop data pipelines and platforms using various tools and technologies such as SQL Python Kafka Azure etc.
• Optimize and tune data performance scalability and availability.
• Ensure data quality integrity and consistency across different data sources and systems.
• Participate in implementing data governance policies and standards such as data lineage data catalog data quality data security and data privacy.
• Collaborate with data engineers product owners solution architects and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
• Document and communicate data architectures designs and processes.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science information systems or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or data analysis.
• Strong knowledge and skills in data modeling data warehousing data integration and data quality.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python C# Scala etc.
• Experience with various data tools and technologies such as ETL BI OLAP NoSQL Hadoop Kafka.
• Strong knowledge in Azure data architecture and offerings
• Experience with data governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.

Working hours: Standard office hours with the possibility for hybrid work.
