Trade Marketing Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to drive sales and build relationships with retailers distributors and other trade partners. This role focuses on promoting products to increase visibility and demand within the trade channels. Trade Marketing Managers work to align marketing strategies with the overall business objectives and collaborate closely with sales teams to maximize impact and effectiveness. They also analyze market trends consumer behavior and competitor activities to inform decisionmaking and optimize marketing campaigns.

What youll do

  • Develop short and longterm channel specific plans based on thorough understanding of market conditions and trends.
  • Effectively negotiate mutually beneficial solutions with various stakeholders and influence key decisionmakers (internal and external) to improve competitiveness of our brands and gain share.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Business Plans with key customers to elevate AZs partnership to a strategic level for short and longterm gains.
  • Identify and monitor competitors and market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales.
  • Prioritize channel activities for maximum returns.
  • Develop strategies and activities that help the company become the supplier of choice.
  • Monitor activities at the trade channel levels for the gathering of insight and to track our aligned activities with the accounts.
  • Establish and manage business insights and business analytics for factbased decision making.
  • Manage the process for oversight of customer inventory for top SKUs and identify opportunities and risk.
  • Developing effective governance to monitor our trade management process as per the SOPs.
  • Providing feedback and CFT alignment
  • Outstanding customer orientation and responsiveness
  • Strong ability to build sustainable relationships ability to communicate efficiently on all levels.
  • High level of business acumen
  • Position AZ as a partner of choice for different stakeholders
  • Essential Disease & Products Knowledge
  • Annual certification with full alignment to all related SOPs policies and local regulations for self and team.
  • Meet& exceed Commercial KPIs
  • Encourage teams to provide market intelligence feedback.
  • Care about AZ assets by optimize the company resources to report expiry stock average of key brands and key accounts inclusions status of new launches.
  • Ensure all activities in line with related SOPs policies and local regulations

Essential for the role

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing sales or trade marketing management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products market trends and regulations is essential. Excellent communication analytical and strategic planning skills are also key for success in this role.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical products and healthcare industry dynamics including compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing initiatives based on market trends consumer behaviours and competitor analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills to create winwin situations and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of business plans with key customers focusing on strategic partnership.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities and financial management.
  • Interpersonal skills Influencing negotiation collaboration and teamwork.
  • Effective analytical thinking problem solving and decision making.
  • Planning and organization skills
  • English fluency required.
