Job Description:
Alt Interiors is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of our staging and design operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills a passion for process improvement and a dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of the daytoday operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across staging design and administrative functions.
- Event Management: Ensure the team has needed resources to present the business at a variety of conferences and events and build spreadsheets of upcoming events and networking opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team including staging coordinators designers administrative staff and warehouse personnel. Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Implement best practices and standards to improve productivity and quality of service delivery.
- Project Management: Oversee project scheduling resource allocation and coordination to ensure timely completion of staging and design projects. Monitor project progress and performance proactively addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors suppliers and contractors. Negotiate contracts manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of staging materials furniture and d cor items. Develop and implement inventory management processes to optimize stock levels minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets. Monitor expenses analyze variances and implement costsaving initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management preferably in the interior design construction or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- A love for fashion and design.
