Data Scientist II

Data scientists use data and analytical ability to find and interpret rich data sources; manage large amounts of data despite hardware software and bandwidth constraints; merge data sources; ensure consistency of data sets; create visualizations to aid in understanding data; build mathematical models using the data; and present and communicate the data insights/findings.

The data scientist works on interdisciplinary teams composed of data scientists data engineers and software engineers. All team members are remote workers and are spread across time zones. Project teams are dynamic and can change as business requirements change.

Minimum Requirements:
3 years of data science experience
3 years of statistical modeling experience
3 years working in an agile environment
1 year data science experience in cloud computing environments
1 year Git experience
Proficient in Python and SQL
Knowledge of R
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to effectively work on mixed teams of data scientists data engineers and software engineers

Additional Desired Requirements:
2 years MLFlow experience
1 year Azure data science experience
1 year of mathematical optimization experience
1 year of machine learning operations experience
1 year of data engineering experience
Proficient in R
