This Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Tuesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Under the direction of Director Medicaid Technology Modernization the Worker will oversee coordinate and perform project management for a portfolio of Medicaid Technology Modernization projects. The Worker is responsible for overseeing largescale projects with significant information technology components and for driving the delivery of strategic and transformational change by providing leadership and direction to assigned projects
The services to be provided include but are not limited to the following:
Provide overall leadership guidance and management of all aspects of the projects
Follow and ensure compliance with established project roles and responsibilities.
Identify and plan for needed resources.
Assist with developing and managing project timelines including the sequence and cadence.
Develop maintain store and archive project plans artifacts and required documentation for each procurement project in the portfolio in coordination with the project team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and status reporting.
Coordinate stakeholder participation in project planning execution control and closure maximizing involvement during each.
Assist with contract management to ensure compliance with the statement of work requirements.
Perform risk management to include identifying and documenting risks and recommending and employing riskmitigation strategies.
Documents action items and business decisions.
Facilitate meetings and/or presentation tasks as needed.
Manage schedules for deliverables as established. Monitor manage and report on the critical path dependencies between Modernization projects
Perform other duties as assigned as required to complete each project.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in management of largescale projects with significant technology components including system integration resource management procurement transition and vendor management.
Experience overseeing the planning and execution of major projects including facilitation and documentation of highlevel critical path dependencies across multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions; to develop and evaluate policies and procedures; to prepare reports; and to plan assign and supervise the work of others.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on tight deadlines
Experience successfully leading meetings and facilitating discussion between multiple stakeholder groups including vendors.
Ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the State and HHS strategic plans as well as federal directives.
Proven ability to work successfully with technical and nontechnical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and coordination skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems including Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
Experience with Texas Health and Human Services programs.
PMI ACP PMI PMP or SAFe Agile Certification
