Job Title: Amazon EKS Anywhere Administrator

Location: New York NY Remote

Duration: 12months

Job Descripton;

• Deploy manage and operate scalable highly available and faulttolerant systems on EKS Anywhere.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into application and infrastructure performance.
• Automate deployment scaling and management of containerized applications.
• Ensure complete compliance with security and data protection standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EKS Anywhere environments including performance and functionality issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate CI/CD processes and support deployment pipelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades without downtime.
• Document best practices and act as a subject matter expert for EKS Anywhere within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proven experience with Amazon EKS Anywhere and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of networking storage and security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies such as ELK stack or AWS CloudWatch.

Proven experience with Amazon EKS Anywhere and AWS cloud services.
