Note: Need a Scientist with experience on Fermentation Cell Culture Protein Upstream

Job Description:

• Recognize document and escalate protocol deviations to stakeholders
• Ensure equipment and instruments remain in good operating condition recognize any malfunctions and troubleshoot as needed
• Maintain updated understanding and knowledge of methods performed in the lab
• Provide feedback on the workflows and participate in developing solutions to pinch points throughput limitations and data quality
• Work with a team of researchers to extend and interpret advanced analytical methodologies.
• Facilitate interactions with collaborators both internal and external to develop efficiencies for cutting edge analytical methods.
• Adapt to unexpected schedule changes and respond to emergency situations as needed Basic qualifications
• Handson expertise with cutting edge molecular biology microbiology and/or biochemistry methods and concepts.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies that are commonly used in modern laboratory data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within an entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail and record keeping.
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
• Knowledge of safety procedures relating to operation of laboratory equipment and handling of chemical and biohazards Preferred qualifications
• PhD degree within life sciences (e.g. Biochemistry Genetics Molecular Biology and Microbiology)
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams at the interface of life science and computer science.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and
• methodologies that are commonly used in modern laboratory data analysis.
• Broad familiarity with different areas of the life sciences.
• Handson experience in highthroughput research incl. operation of liquid handlers.
